Billing
Cycle and Due Date
Swisher Telephone Company
telephone bills are mailed around the 1st of every month and are
due by the 20th of the month. Delinquents notices are mailed after
the 20th and service is subject to disconnection if not paid by
the date indicated on the notice.
Local telephone service
is billed for the current month. Tolls, however, are billed in arrears.
For example, the December 1st billing includes local service for
the month of December and toll calls from October 17th through November
16th.
Direct
Payment Plan
Direct payment is an easy
way to have your telephone bill paid automatically and on time by
your bank or credit union. It saves you the trouble of writing
a check and the postage to mail it. Once you are signed up, you
will receive your telephone bill at your usual billing time.
It will have all the information you are accustomed to seeing on
your regular bill. The bill will state, "AMOUNT DUE WILL
BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR ACCOUNT ON THE 15TH." The amount due
on the bill will be deducted from your account on the 15th of each
month.
There is no charge to
sign up for Direct Payment. Simply complete
the authorization form. You can bring it in, or mail it
to our business office. We will do the rest.
Drop
Box
The STC business office
has a drop box located on the east side of our building for your
convenience.
